Why we built it this way
In our interviews, the same sentence kept coming up: “I know the answer is in there somewhere.” People were not short of charts. They were short of a story. So the summary comes first, and the charts support it.
The first report I sent without editing it was the first one my manager replied to with a question instead of a correction.
